You would think that with all the excitement that surrounds this girl and her loose teeth (or desire to have them) that our tooth fairy would be more on the ball.
But nooooo.....
he...or she....just cannot get it together and remember!
Now granted, this happened the same day Brandon found out where he matched...
and Spencer and I had our birthday date...
and there was a lot of excitement already swirling around our house.
So when she woke up in the morning, soooo sad, we were kicking ourselves big time.
But visit on the first night or not, Jenna was EXCITED for another tooth to pop on out, especially because this was her first claim to fame--she pulled it out herself. Knowing it was coming, we snapped some pics of the process...which she is VERY proud of.

I think that all tooth fairies have had this problem. Our tooth fairy was delayed 3 or 4 days because of the "wind".....yeah.
I know exactly how you feel. We forget all the time. I have now become a total advocate for the little pillow things you hang on the outside of the kids bedroom doorknobs. Not only are they useful in not waking up the kiddos when the tooth fairy comes, but it also serves as a reminder to mom and dad :)
That will totally be my problem, too! Reading this renews my reminder to myself to try to be a better tooth fairy. So proud of her for pulling it herself :)
Hmm had this problem before, silly tooth fairy loves to play tricks, we "found" the cash in the pillow case, under the bed, taped to the window...silly gal
Our tooth fairy must be related to yours, because she's been late occasionally too. Nathan has a couple loose ones, and hopefully she's on the ball with her quarter and traditional poem. (Why did she feel the need to echo her mother tooth fairy and write a little poem for each child upon taking their tooth?)
